Jkain
Jkain is a free fast hash reverser (MD5 & SHA-1) designed primarily for security analysts and penetration testers for risk assessment support. From ordinary databases where the passwords are stored hashed but unsalted Jkain will most likely be able to reverse about 50-75% of the hashed passwords in just matters of seconds, this because Jkain is using online rainbow tables.

Why should i buy Jkain?
The free version of Jkain has certain restrictions and limitations, when you are loading a database dump into an unlicensed copy of Jkain it will only load 50 of the hashes in the file. If you register you will increase this limit to 5000! But (hopefully) most important; you are supporting me and any future development of Jkain, Jipox & future software.
A Jkain license costs $10 USD, and the Jkain license can be used for both Jkain and Jipox, so you get two programs for the cost of one program. The license is valid forever and for any future versions of Jkain. (No you won't have to buy a new one every now and then!)

Anonymous: Haven’t had the opportunity to test the latest (and greatest) Jkain versions on Linux yet, and as the latest changes mostly applies to Windows I haven’t taken myself time to do it either. But they will be released for Linux soon. :-)
The old versions are still available, visit this site from a Linux computer and you will see the download. :-) If someone would like to help out with testing and debugging (for both linux and windows) join me at IRC: #timtux.net @ EFNet.

Fortune: once the new 1.0 version is done there will be a video guide. :-) Think it’s a waste of time to create one now when there are major changes in the GUI in the new version.
