27Jun What’s so special about iPhone?
I’m so tired of this iPhone hype. What’s so special about it? I just can’t get why everyone wants an iPhone – yep I have tested the phone. So here’s a comparison of a phone I had five years ago in the same price range as iPhone versus an iPhone.

Conclusions
So, they pretty much have the same software features. iPhone got fewer then the Motorola a925 but iPhone got a bit better hardware, which unfortunately is just natural as time goes.
Is this what the mobile market has accomplished in 5 years? If it was computers we where talking about this would be a damn fiasco.
So well, I’ve read, I’ve heard, I’ve felt this “revolutionary” piece of brand new “high-tech” phone called iPhone from a company called Apple. But I just don’t get what’s so revolutionary about is, neither what’s so “high-tech” or innovative with it… do you?
Updates 10th of July
Some guys seems to have misinterpret this article. What i really meant say with this article is that its NOTHING new in iPhone which did not exist in mobile phones in the past. Sure, the features are perhaps better and “more user friendly” but it is well-a natural part of development.
Is an interface and design something that makes the customers open their wallets and the whole world talk about it? IMHO it’s not but well, for the public it maybe is; users upgrades to Vista because it “looks good” while I think it’s just a huge resource hog.
Spend the time to develop a mobile phone with super hardware instead, make it open (source), make it easy to develop programs for, that’s pretty much the mobile of my dreams - the one with no limits

The Motorola is really ugly.

Maybe the big improvements aren’t in features that can be measured in a table.

It’s simply because having an Iphone is status, It’s the same as lacoste, it’s not better quality, but having lacoste-clothes is status, unfortunetely.
